Although the impact did not (hope so) hit most of us hard, but have you ever wondered,if one day your stable and steady company suddenly and quietly planning for downgrading and cut on headcount?

And all over the news and newspapers were showing and printing, everyday hundred of Sporeans are out of job?

And everything, be it your daily newspapers, food, transport and even a pack of chicken rice, were priced ridiculously?

SCARY! Why am I suddenly so concern?

Cos i can feel the tension.

finally, i have got long hair! but man is greedy, i am not satisfied at all :(

I like thick thick slight wavy hair. something like this

SO far so good, only 4 not so positive feedbacks i've got. Sam, melda and claude prefer my short hair-dos. and stupid damien, threaten my hair with lighter and sissors!

I have never had this length since primary school. Dont know why i keep going for hair trimming, and on the other hand i dread having short hair :( so me, being so contradicting.

Men and women are so different.

Something, i cant understand. People are fake. I meet a couple recently. and i do not wish to elaborate.

Well, none of my business, shan't poke my nose into it :p

I went to feel the texture of the fake hair, and i decide on spot, YES i want it!

although the clip-on would only last about 3 months (with good maintenance), i gan gan spent $200 on my long hair.

I do not want to be miserable and been unhappy, complaining about hair.

hahaha, neither do i m a spendthrif. i jus wana be happy :) (and i think i complain alot!)

today is my eighth day with HC.

We celebrated Mary's birthday towards the end of day. Cassy bought her a pair of cute bedroom slippers and car seat neck massager.all in sweet pink.

Cassy is really a funny innocent girl (or aunty rather) she can be thoughtful and weird sometimes.

She gave Mary a small bottle with 5 capsules in it. In each capsule, there is a small piece of paper THAT SUPPOSE to contain our birthday wishes for her. Instead, she ask all of us to write 'HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARY' and our name at the back of the small slip. Hahahahaha, funny thing is imagine you are Mary, you happily unroll the 5 pieces of papers, you find 5 SIMILAR wishes that is 'HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARY' hahahaha... and that is our aunty loh :)

Today I am being verbally abused by customer, not one but 2! and they are couple.
Mean people!

This guy suppose to settle his overdue account some time back. He broken his promises to us for about 5 times in a row. I insist he make his payment by FRIDAY (which i think we have given ample time) he rejected and demand to go his way, to settle by next week (com'on next week can be monday all the way to sunday lor) then i told him in a very ke qi way, NO! by Friday, if not no priviledge to make minimum, we have to recover the full amount. at this time can sense his buay song-ness, but didnt know that serious, before he hung up on me, he curse and use vulgar. I tried very hard to contain my anger and tempered. I did not call back and ask about our arrangment, let him go and continue to make call to other customers.

He took my kindess as weakness, ask his wife to call in. Despite of being courteous and ask for extension, his wife told my team mate, to ask me to go and die. why so ridge, refuse to give in. My team mate was kinda shocked by customer's language, ask customer to cool down then call back. but she never did.

Why Singaporean so bu yao lian? I mean if i am in such suituation, instead of being ya ya to bank, i would really talk to them and ask for solution.

by wen hou (asking) people's parents (a form of vulgar) does it solve the issue?

No, this will only cause 2 parties to get more agitated, and make negotiation difficult.

If i were to look at thing another way, Yes i agreed. they might be facing financial difficulties, get upset by our calls. but come on, you should knw this chinese saying: you jie you huan, zai jie bu nan. meaning, if you do repay what you have used or owe, if you need $$ again, the bank is more than happy to give the lending.

Anyway, this is only the beginning, i believe in HC, there is plenty of such people. ANd i would need to deal with them more tactfully.

Anyway this is a busy week. Tomorrow i am having dinner with 2 of my darlings, thurs KTV and Friday i am sold to da jie.

EVER since i have SCV,although i channel surf but seldom watch channel 8 show.

I cant stand the long-winded style, love-triangles, the very fake crying scenes, corny jokes, and the lonnnnnnnnnnnnnnng commercials.

But today i watch the 7pm show -Love Blossoms- the one with felicia chin, chen shu cheng and zhang yao dong.

The part where, Felicia chin found out her live-in bf making out with their neighbour. and she caught them red-handed, upfront confrontation with her man and the woman.

Perhaps one have been in this suituation will find this scenes heart wretching and able to relate to one story.

The part that makes me think and cried was what zhang yao dong told felicia...

...not willing to concede defeat...

...not able to pretend or act as though nothing has happen...

...usually got hurt the most...

yeah~ TGIF tomorrow! This week has been a long week, time seems to crawl especially we were doing manual queue.

Am i paranoid or is my boss having mood swing? kena several times of ta-kaning sessions from her. or am i carelss? argh... whatever. Smile and just work, it will be over!

Got back from Bintan last Saturday, for our 2008 team building.
It was fun and I have a great time. Laughing, joking and bonding with my fellow colleagues. I love all of them. Who says you cant make good friends with colleagues. at least mine were all great people. except my junie and melda were not there.

I was again drunk and gone at Bintan drinking session.
think i was gone at the indian poker game, when the rule is, if the card on your forehead drops, you have to drink 2 mouthful of the awful mix and pick another card to stick on your forehead.

sway sway my card drops, i have to drink baileys+volka mango+volka vanilla+green tea (thanks to Jeremey). then i picked a card with the smallest number, hv to finish 1/2 the glass. after 1/4, i feel terrible, knowing i was a lousy drinker, ivy and terrence helped out. ha! then later again i was penalise during the finger guessing game. had some chivas+green tea, vomitted at 4 different rooms! damn terrible. thought i could lasted till morning, but was knocked out at 1am. LOUSY! haha...

ha, had 3 good buys at Bintan ferry terminal. got 1 checked shirt cost S$12, shorts at S$4 and a tee for edwin.
got home at abt 5+pm, had another surprise. He bought a Gucci speedy bag for me.

was contraditing whether to use or not. in the end, i use it after some thoughts :p

Really glad, Edwin found a job at Aston express.
Really really hope that, this time he could really really be committed to this job and bring home his 1st pay cheque! JIA YOU!!!

Damn sway, suffering from serious back ache for abt 2-3 months already. Finally, couldnt take it, went to doc last wednesday. Had some tests, doc suspect, stone near my uterus. woman sickness! Hope everything is fine :(

except, if you are there for dates especially first date, someone you wana impress, take the seats indoor. its cooler

I am back to blogging! Its a warm Saturday night and i am here writing about my boring life!

Firstly, life at my new office The Comtech!

No longer have the luxury of sleeping in late and taking cab that costs only $10!

My first week at Comtech was a costly one. Everyday i woke up late! 7.20am i am rushing like mad! Cab fare was $17 - $20 ! OMG~ I think i have spent about > $100 on cab fare!

Lunch were another issue. Guess we were pretty spoiled for choices when we are at atrium!

Now we are spoiled too, for factory food! haha, i am a fussy person (my lunch kakis & friends know me best) I just simply cant decide what to eat and seldom finish my food. I miss my Fei shiong Fishcake at PS!

Shopping? haha, must be joking! Besides cab fare, i think $50 can lasted for quite a while if no coffee,ktv or movie sessions after work. Before the old building (dont know the name) was closed down, one of our favourite past time was shopping for tibits at this tibits wholesale shop! Prices were relatively low compared to shops, supermarkets outside.

Now Vivo city and harbourfront are our favourite hangouts! (do we have other choices?) haha

Well, well enough of Comtech!

After 2 trips in Jan, I am determinded to lose weight again! I am so motivated (like real!) I am off carbo for 2 weeks officially! (erm, i am still having bread actually :p) no rice, noodle, yam and potato! I feel lighter and satisfied! 5kgs off in 2 weeks. but i suspect its water again!

Read about accupuncture method for slimming in flowerpod and i came across an article in I-weekly talking about it. I was so facsinated by how much weight they lost w/o effort (marketing does a great job!) so i went around sourcing for information!

1st call was to aimin. they were selling 30 sessions for $1888 (well,perhaps CNY, the '8' is a lucky number) sha ren fang huo!

2nd call was to CMC ( chinese medical clinic) 30 sessions $899

3rd call was to a doctor recommended by my sis in law. 10 sessions $388. still very expensive and i dont want to feel the pinch!

so

my sis in law introduced another one (i am quite stingy) haha $20 per sessions. affordable and location is accessible!

i have went for 2 sessions. basically i cant feel anything yet so no comments on this.

wish me luck and lose weight fast!

yesterday,went shopping and coffee with claude at vivo city. Girl, thank you for your time, ears and suggestions! I enjoyed time with you.

another 19 days to my big fat bonus day! I am excited!

I wanted to leave my job! but i have made a bunch of fun loving colleagues and many best friends. I cant bear to leave them! but i am really tired of my current job scope! I am in such a dilema! like I do have feelings for him but i cant stand his way of handling r/ships! how!

Time flies, another has passed. I am older again. I am missing my beloved mum terribly. This year i am not spending CNY with my family. seems like i have pissed off everyone and myself. I dont know why i am such a emotional kid (yes i am still one). sometimes i hate myself for being one. even thou i am not in my pms period. gosh! why am i so selfish making everyone miserable. maybe its my way to show i am upset and bu shuang. SELFISH!

I have yet to post my pictures taken in GZ. so lazy and no mood.

After all i am STILL BAD at html!

seems like i am only able to add stuff onto my blog, not able to remove! notice a green rectangular box besides the date of my latest post? its always there, and i am still trying my bes to figure it out!

so proud of myself! today i manage to throw so many things away (something is still there, not able to throw it away!) and clear my wardrobe. he looks worried and check out on me so many times, making sure i am not preparing for ..... (when you have to go, you have to)

over the long holidays (just 2 days in fact) i am missing him.... wondering how he spent his new year.... i dont know how to go about it and text him... kinda weird if i were to sms him 'hey, guess what, erm... i THINK i miss u' weird~ hahaha... today manage to get him out of my mind for a while...

went simei and have breakfast at 1pm! gosh! its not that i woke up late its because seems like most of the singaporeans are craving for tim sum! went cystal jade at about 11am gosh queue number was 190 , and my number was 210! and more people are coming, so we drop the idea and went simei - canto kitchen.

have a heavy brunch, went winter time to see see look look. fyi i dont own a proper piece of winter wear. going away in jan. when you are overseas, the fun part is you can really dress up! i mean in nice cold weather,you don have to worry about sweating!

was planning what to wear and bring as my friend told me she will be bringing me to pubs and clubs, so gonna bring some proper nice clothings with shoes or heels.

well, another 6 more days i will be enjoying myself.

finally manage to catch some sleep this afternoon after going around in the hot sun to company him to buy laptop.

nowadays laptops are really dirt cheap! Acer salesmen are working real hard, everywhere they are pushing the sales for acer. now its going for $991 at carrerfour, $1098 at harvey norman and $1198 at best denki. why are there price different? he got his at carrerfour BUT will be getting it only on 09/01/07! they say to order then deliver. so....

time flies, 1 more day to 2008! I am looking forward to a good year, hopefully will be it will be a much much much better year ahead.

7 days more i am going for 2 holidays a shot! first to genting followed by KL for 3days then back in singapore for 2 days, pack my bag then will be flying to Hongkong then guang zhou, macau.... for 6days!

BUT

only problem is i will missed the shift to comtech! meaning while others have settled down in our new place, i will be the lost one!

i have yet to figure out how my journey will be. which bus, which bus stop... hai, put it aside, shall think about it when the day draws nearer....

tomorrow will be the last day of the year, hope everything will end on a good note!

oops!

I did it again! my blog template is gone. gone for good. i thought i was free and want to do some edit here and there to personalise it but... i did. deleted the whole damn thing. now it looks fresh, and empty!

i found a nice template, sweet and cute looking but something was wrong, the html codes are incorrect and i was not able to upload. nah bei! damn sian!

finally i was done with my christmas shopping and the whole wrapping process. phew! but as i was pushing the unused wrappers up on the shelve, i realise i had left over from last year, 3 brand new ones -_-

luckily wrappers are cheap.

he told me, tomorrow he is buying a coach bag for me as a xmas gift. went online to view but i feel the pinch. is it worth it? anyway, this is the forth time he mentioned he wanted to buy it for me, so let him be lor.

I have wasted a day.at home,sleeping like a log.

Went shopping and ktv, reach home at 6+AM.

was suppose to go out, it was raining, i did something silly, i made a turn and went home, to sleep.

It has a been long time since i last 'dawn' night. 'dawn' night?

hahaha such a familiar word,which i believe everyone have used at least once in those younger days.Those were the times... i used to have this hao jie mei who lives 2 blocks away at my hougang place,we hanged around at basketball court,lying on the concrete floor and stare at the starry shy,holding beer or soft drinks and talk all night long. About our dreams,goals,future... if not we would go to each other place and spend night together doing girly stuff. how innocent life,how peaceful,how slow-paced. although all of us are financially stabled, we no longer enjoy doing silly stuff, but instead we spend time complaining about how unfortunate how miserable our life is.

I just miss those time with you shiya.

well, yesterday after knocked off at 8pm, went to orchard with ivy and claudia to do our Xmas shopping. Again i have committed a mistake, i left wallet in my drawer, make a U-turn back to office to collect it. Its not the first nor the second time i left wallet (with cash and cards) in office and went , its the fourth time! i think sooner or later,i will lost it eventually :(

The F***ing street was filled with people and people and more people,carrying big bags (just like me) pushing and shasaying on street. damn it dont they know how to walk at normal street. well perhaps i am tired and half or me already switched off, while having dinner i really do have the urge of going home and drop on bed.

after dinner at food republic,we start to shop for gifts at Taka. it spell busy and crowded when the mall extended the operating hours. i got frustrated with myself and on a second thought i wanted to just window shop and buy the gifts on monday. but whats the point i will just make one more of my days unhappy! reluctantly i dragged myself to go round and round again to source for the suitable gift. Its not that the price are steep or no choices, just that i am spoiled for choice and i am a fickled minded person. I am a decision maker but recently i think i got worse off. I just cant decide! damn it!

In the end, i manage to get 11 gifts, meaning about 10 more to go. SHIT

after TAKA was close for the day at about 11pm, we went cineleisure.

i am still coughing as hard. proved that the medicines given are not working but worked on him. we both seems like suffering from TB. coughing non stop. in cabs... shopping malls... everywhere... coughing and starings from people... it was so bad that we are being offered mints twice by cab drivers, once at starhub shop. it prove another thing or rather two. singaporeans are still kind souls and because they are still as kia-si, of gems. hahaha... whatever. any remedies for me?

i miss him. in a way, i feel part of me away, faraway from me. whenever i look at certain things, it reminds me of him. him away from me, him away with someone else. are you thinking and missing me? he told me he miss me with tears in his eyes, he say i tried so hard to stay away all day and all night. he felt so distance from me. and sometimes, he feel cold in his heart. me too... but what to do. which path we choose, one party will be the victim. i choose to go... its not easy. its not comfortable. its very hard. its very awful. its very lonely. but i choose to be.

HIS birthday is just 4days away. its the first time, i am racking my brain, what should i buy. first time in 7 years. its not that i am miserable, but i am not able to make up my mind. yes i am super duper fickled minded, super duper bad decision maker, and a super duper lousy partner.

this month is a month of love, joy and peace. its xmas again! and soon we are counting down to new year. 2008! i am looking forward to xmas, receiving pressies and yup to a better year ahead.

at pacific coffee company, i had a ice hazelnut latte. so so ... i admit i am choosy but nothing to be commented on. but the atmosphere are great! cooling, comfy seats and good view.

Terrence birthday, we went to eat at a indian eatery near paradiz and headed for drinks at The Labyrinth (at middle road) . another great place to hang out with friends and colleagues after a lousy day at work. we have fun singing,talking cock and the dice game. hahaha...

then on saturday, me, terrence and aaron went to hunt for our gift for the department gift exchange. the three of us got the similar things but in 3 different colours! pink -mine, terrence- yellow and brown - aaron. its so sweet and cute looking, the appearance is so temping. the 2 guys sent constant reminders, asking me not to open the presents, cos i am a butter fingers. hahaha... we have fun talking, making fun of each other and hunting for games and drinks! never thought that these 2 guys are hunting for cute looking presents. so girl lor! but they are my new found buddies who i can click with! love their companies. but the next time round lets be smarter leave earlier if we wana go changi village!

for the last 2 weeks i have been going out too often. everyone is complaining! i have to make time for my family liao.

i am having bad cough for almost 2 weeks, my lungs are almost being coughed out ( i mean almost) my voice are affected (still sugar-coated hee hee) but more strength are needed recently each time i cough to clear my throat. Just a cough and slight temperature, i was given 6 medicine. feel damn ill-luck i am allergy to so many so many medicines, even doctors are scare, i can only use the usual ones.

feel so tired, so worn out. but i dont know whats wrong with me. always unhappy, always buay song, always sad always this always that. what i want?? i really..really dont know.

i am lost, lost in this world, lost to myself. lost to you.

went munchy doughnut for some coffee and of course doughnut. ate 1 and a half doughnut and a hazelnut coffee. sms frens, some small talk and occasional smoke breaks outside. sian having to walk in and out of the shop for smoke. why cant spore or shop owners be more lenient, allow smoking in eateries, confirm business will be much better! ciggi in one hand, chatting over food and drinks, life is so nice....
